Soft golden light filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow across the cozy apartment. Y/N stirred awake, blinking as the fragments of a blurry memory came flooding back into her mind. Her eyes widened slightly as the realization struck her—how she had nearly gotten hit by a car and passed out right there in the middle of the street.
She sat up, her heartbeat quickening slightly, the aftershock still lingering in her chest. As she looked around, her gaze landed on Sia, who sat across the room, watching her closely with a mix of relief and concern.
Y/N: “Sia… I passed out there on the road. How did I end up here?”
Sia: “Someone brought you back. When you fainted, he called me. I reached there, and then brought you back to your apartment.”
Y/N stared at her, her brows furrowed as she processed the information.
Y/N: “I really thought that was it for me today… I’m glad he brought me here. If he were still around, I would’ve definitely thanked him.”
Sia stood up, brushing imaginary dust from her jeans as she walked toward the door.
Sia: “You stay here. I’ll go check on Pihu for a while.”
Y/N: “There’s no need. I’m fine now. I’m going out. It’s already late… you go and check on Pihu.”
Sia: “Going out with what?”
Y/N: (smirking) “With my love You know… my first love.”
Sia: (grinning knowingly) “Oh, I get it now… your bike.”
Y/N: “Of course. You know how much I love riding. And I can’t even tell people about it.”
Sia: “I know. After what happened in India… you have to stay under the radar now. Innocent and quiet.”
Y/N: “That’s exactly what I’m doing. I am innocent… just not as much as people think I am.”
Sia: “Oh, people in India were terrified of you. Especially because of the way you delivered justice.”
Y/N: “And they should be. I’ve always been that kind of person. I can never tolerate injustice.”
Sia: “Exactly. And now we’re here for a very big reason. We have to stay hidden for a while.”
Y/N: “I know that. But I don’t want anyone to find out about me. And I definitely don’t want Taehyung to know.”
Y/N: “Alright then, I’m going.”
Sia: “Be careful.”
{Her outfit}
Y/N picked up her helmet and walked toward the door. The hum of the night surrounded her as she stepped outside and made her way to the parking area. Her black bike stood there, gleaming under the soft moonlight like a loyal beast waiting for its rider. She threw her leg over the seat, fastened her helmet, and started the engine. The roar of the engine echoed in the stillness as she sped into the night.
Meanwhile…
At the same time, in another part of the city, V—stormed out of the base, frustration burning in his chest. His jaw was clenched, brows furrowed, and his entire demeanor screamed rage. He walked straight to his car and got in, slamming the door shut behind him.
V: “Just once… if that bastard Jack falls into my hands, I’ll make him regret ever messing with me.”
He muttered under his breath, gripping the steering wheel tightly as he sped off into the night.
V’s POV:
I kept driving, letting my anger fuel the speed. The streets passed in a blur as my thoughts kept circling back to Jack, to everything that had happened. I didn’t know where I was heading, but the need to move was overwhelming.
After a while, I reached the highway. But then—traffic.
Tch. I sighed in irritation and slowed down, forced to stop along with the long line of vehicles. My fingers tapped impatiently against the steering wheel.
And then, something—someone—caught my eye.
Just a few cars ahead, there was a girl on a bike. She slowly removed her helmet, probably because of the heat.
My eyes widened.
V: “Wait… she rides a bike?”
I leaned forward, stunned.
It was her. Y/N. My sweetheart. Riding a damn bike in the middle of the night like a storm disguised in elegance.
Well, well… you’re full of surprises, sweetheart.
Y/N’s POV:
The night air was cool against my skin as I raced through the city. The roads felt like freedom beneath my tires. I didn’t have a destination—I just needed the ride.
But then I hit traffic.
I sighed and slowed down, pulling to a stop near the shoulder. It was hot despite the breeze, so I took off my helmet for a moment and let the air touch my face. The traffic slowly started to ease, and I reached for the clutch to get moving again—when suddenly—bam!
Something rammed into my bike from behind.
Y/N: “Oye, uncle! Can’t you see?! How the hell did you crash into my bike?!”
I turned around, fuming. I had called him uncle on purpose—to insult him. He had the audacity to hit my bike with his oversized car. The nerve!
Boy: “It was an accident, okay?! And how dare you call me uncle?!”
His tone was arrogant. Rude. Disrespectful. He stepped toward me, eyes burning with misplaced anger—and raised a hand like he was about to hit me.
Big mistake.
Before he could even blink, I grabbed his wrist and twisted it backward.
Y/N: “What did you think, uncle? That I’m weak? That you can hit me and walk away?”
I twisted harder, watching him wince.
Boy: “No! No, please! Let me go!”
Y/N: “I’ll let go. But next time, think twice before lifting your hand on someone. Understand?!”
I shoved him back and stormed toward my bike. I got on, pulled my helmet back on, and started the engine.
V’s POV:
I watched the whole thing from my car. Every move. Every word.
And I couldn’t stop smirking.
V: “Damn. I didn’t know my sweetheart was this strong… sweet and dangerous. Now that’s… interesting.”
